A volume (now unbound) containing a brief history of the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra from its founding in 1903 through 1958. Described in the history are the following: the first concert; the first tour; radio and television performances; biographical sketches of each of the conductors through Antal Dorati; the move to the University of Minnesota campus; young people's concerts; finances; and management. Also included are descriptions of the following auxiliary organizations: Young People's Concert Association, Minneapolis and St. Paul committees; Women's Committee; Women's Association; Junior Symphony Associates; and the Symphony Wives Club.
